During his trek, he finds opposition from the once fabled Venom People and aid from the winged T'oln Shytok Windar. He discovers that the two oldest Houses on the continent now want him dead. Forced by obligation, he and his odd ensemble of loosely considered allies leave Myth to travel in pursuit of the Venom People. This is a story of war and dissention, lands turned against each other, and a fight against an army of soulless humans.
